The Gator Keys é um mod de expansão de mapa que visa reimaginar e restaurar a área de Vice City que foi cortada durante o desenvolvimento, presumivelmente devido a restrições de tempo. Construído para o projeto Vice City Next Gen (1.2), este mod estende o mundo com áreas pantanosas em grande parte consistentes com a tradição, uma cadeia de novas ilhas e novas estradas conectando todas as áreas ao continente.
O mod ainda está em WIP, e alguns bugs podem ser esperados;
No entanto, o mod inclui:
- Caminhos de veículos
- Malhas de navegação (geração de pedestres)
- Luzes noturnas e neon
- Texturas consistentes com a tradição com mapas normais e especulares.
- Geração de carros estacionados
- Navio dirigível (do VCS)
- Opção de gerar veículos beta em torno das novas áreas (requer o Mod de Veículos Beta do JTR6699)

The Gator Keys is a map expansion mod aimed at reimagining and restoring the area from Vice City that was cut during development, presumably due to time restraints. Built for the Vice City Next Gen (1.2) project, this mod extends the world with largely lore-friendly swampy areas, a chain of new islands and new roads connecting all the areas to the mainland.
The mod is still in WIP, and there are a few bugs that can be expected;
However, the mod includes:
- Vehicle paths
- Navmeshes (Ped spawns)
- Nighttime lights and neon
- Lore-friendly textures with normals and spec maps.
- Parked car spawns
- Drivable ship (from VCS)
- Option to spawn beta vehicles around the new areas (requires JTR6699's Beta Vehicles Mod)

- JTR6699 for converting the boat restaurant from VCS and providing beta vehicles, which suit this mod perfectly.
